Self-Acceptance

On today's outfit, I paired this crop top with this colourful stripes high waisted pants. I thought it was a great way to hide those lower pooch belly without compromising myself from wearing the kind of top that look like it got shrink from the washing machine. That's how I liked it. So until, I get myself a flat abdominal, high waisted anything will have to do for now.

As you may have noticed by now, my fringe is a lot shorter and had finally put my contemplation to rest. In my book, having a fringe above the eyebrow is a ballsy act. I mean what do I actually got to lose? It's just hair after all. And, well, what do you know? It turns out better than I thought. I've never felt entirely satisfied towards a new look. It's usually loaded with self-doubt and question the looks appeared on every passerby.

I may have gotten some mix reviews- some really negative ones, but you know, you have come towards self acceptance when you don't give a damn about what others think about the way you look and how you should look. And with that, no one can take anything away from you.

Two cents

I remembered those days when Vivi magazine was my "fashion bible", where I engrossed with every page Jun Hasegawa and Lena Fuji would be featured in, got me thinking can these girls be anymore perfect? Back then(I mean high school), a lot of the models would appeared in plaid or denim top tied around the hips in almost every other issue. These days, it has been making a comeback. Finally, a trend with some practical use- to provide extra length(cover) for super short dress. If you look close enough in person, you could probably catch a glance on what's underneath it. Here's my little two cents. So girl, when someone tell you that your dress or shorts is too short, you'd know what to do.

Keepin' it Simple

      This dress is a no-brainer. I have bought this NastyGal dress awhile ago and I knew it would be a easy to wear. I like the kinda dress that I could just put it on, pile on some accessories and put on a pair of heels when I am feeling dressy or put on a pair of sneakers to look more sporty. So I did the latter. I am definitely guilty of being lazy. Whoever invented platform sneakers are life saviors.

           I can finally see what a little more will and determination can do. As I am feeling less awkward posing in public, I'll do more awkward poses. I can be quite shy although a lot of my friends strongly beg to differ. I wonder how other bloggers or models does it, posing while the rest were watching. Lucky for me, there were very few people that day. My trick is to just fake it and get busy.
